After completing medical school at The Ignacio A. Santos School of Medicine in Monterrey, Mexico, Daniella attended Penn State Children’s Hospital in Hershey, Pennsylvania for her pediatric residency. After finishing medical school, Daniella completed clerkships in Pediatric Urology at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts and Cardiology Transplant at The Methodist Hospital Research Institute in Houston, Texas. During her residency, she completed a clerkship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Miami School of Medicine in Miami, Florida.
Dr. Rodriguez-Rico, who is fluent in both English and Spanish, is currently certified in CPR/AED and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. She has also attended courses in Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation and Adult Trauma Life Support and hold certifications in all three. She is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Board of Pediatrics and the Texas Medical Board.
